MISSION
FOVS srl has been associated with the Italian eyewear industry for the past 40 years.
After many years of market presence the Company has developed innovative technological and productive methods to support every step that leads from the creation of ideas, design, rapid prototyping development of moulds and production, even in small scale.
To handle each step, we use the latest technology and sophisticated machinary that work in synergy with our highly qualified human resources.
With the back up of advanced software CAD-CAM programmes we can create the final shape with all the requested features of any commissioned object. The milling of the moulds and electrodes is strictly carried out internally as is the engraving on the moulds and any eventual movement or component of the mould together with the assembly and matching, in order to ensure perfection of the final product.
For some years, in order to meet even more our Customer's requirements, Fovs offers design and prototyping made in Italy with the opportunity to chose between production of the moulds either made in Italy or in China, with the guarantee of personal and strict quality control.
Other strong point of our Company, is the milling department where just about any object can be milled in whatever material from the cutting of lenses to particular milling such as of zirconium oxide (Zirconia) which has permitted us to enter a completely new area, the medical dental field.
Thanks to the ability of our operators and to the use of sophisticated technology, we are able to offer rapid prototyping through CNC 5 axis machining centres and with the use of stereolithography, images can be modified over and over until the perfect reflection of the original concept is reached. Physical prototypes can hence be constructed and approved by the Customer prior to the preparation of moulds.
Our injection moulding department consists of 10 presses of various tonnage to ensure injection moulding of any type of product in small-medium scale using a wide range of innovative plastic materials researched in recent years by our staff.
